Valtech’s Statement Addressing the Impact of Coronavirus

 

Valtech Corporation continues to closely monitor the dynamic global developments associated with the Novel Coronavirus. At the recommendation of local authorities our Pottstown office staff is now working remotely. Pottstown manufacturing operations are continuing as scheduled with no disruptions in any schedules shipments. Our facility in Shanghai, China has reopened as of February 20^th, 2020 as previously planned and is now operating at full capacity.

We continue to communicate with our suppliers to ensure they are not experiencing any supply disruptions that would impact our operations.  No supply disruptions have been reported up to this point.

The recent announcement of the travel ban from Europe to the United States is specific to passenger flights and will not impact cargo shipments. It is important to note many passenger flights also transport cargo and there will most likely be an impact on air shipments to Europe. We are closely monitoring this situation and will advise should any delays result from this situation.
